  1.d4 Nf6 2.c4 g6 3.Nc3 d5 4.Nf3 Bg7 5.Qa4+ Bd7 6.Qb3 dxc4 7.Qxc4 0–0 8.Bf4 Na6 9.e4 c5 10.e5 Nh5 11.Be3 cxd4 12.Qxd4 Bc6 13.Be2 Qa5

  Emil Sutovsky, who is one of the best specialist of grunfeld defense in our opinion, played 13...Bxf3 14.Bxf3 Qxd4 15.Bxd4 Nb4 16.0–0–0 Nf4 17.Kb1 Ne6 18.Be3 Bxe5 19.Rd7 Nc6 20.Rhd1 Rab8 21.Na4? (But maybe Topalov analyzed this position and discover that after 21.Bxc6 bxc6 22.Kc2± white is getting clear advantage in endgame) 21...Rfc8 22.Rc1 Ned4 23.Bxd4 Nxd4 24.Rxc8+ Rxc8 25.Bxb7 Rc7 26.Rxc7 Bxc7 27.h3 Bd6 28.Kc1 Bb4 29.Kd1 e5 30.a3 Be7 31.Nc3 f5 32.Ne2 1/2–1/2 Riazantsev,A (2608)-Sutovsky,E (2665)/Sochi 2005/ CBM 107

  14.0–0 Nb4!?N

This is new move. Difficult to say how good it is, but any novelty which is made such a top player like Veselin deserves high attention! [It was played 14...Bxf3 15.Bxf3 Bxe5 16.Qd5 Qxd5 17.Nxd5 Rfe8 18.Rac1?! (Better is 18.Rad1 ) 18...e6÷ 1/2–1/2 Sokolov,I (2695) -Van Wely,L (2654)/Belgium 2003/CBM 097 ext (37)]

  15.Qh4!?

An interesting move. Dmitry is ready for fire! now by force he is winning material, but position is becoming very complicate
[We think this move for Topalov can be more unpleasant, because black are forced to go in slightly worse endgame 15.Qc5 Qxc5 16.Bxc5 Bxf3 17.Bxf3 Nd3 18.Bxe7 Rfe8 19.Bd6 Bxe5 20.Bxe5 Rxe5 21.Rab1²]

  15...Nc2 16.g4 Nxe3?!

Big surprise for everybody! Topalov is going to sacrifice all knight!
[Probably was better just to take a rook? 16...Nxa1 17.Rxa1 Qb4 18.gxh5 Qxb2 19.Rc1 Bxf3 20.Bxf3 Rac8 21.Ne2 Rxc1+ 22.Nxc1 Rc8 23.Kg2 Rxc1 24.Bxc1 Qxc1 25.Qxe7 all this variation is not obligatory, but possible. with equality]

  17.fxe3

Now black is loosing Knight and we think they don't have enough compensation for it

  17...Bh6 18.Nd1!

Very strong move! maybe Topalov missed this move in his calculations?! Now white is winning big material and there position is also winning

  18...Kh8 19.gxh5 Rg8 20.Kf2?

After this move black again are coming back [We don't understand why Dmitry didn't play 20.Rf2 Rad8 21.Kf1 and how to make progress with black it's not clear]

  20...Rad8 21.hxg6 Bxf3!

In such a positions Topalov is most dangerous player in the world!

  22.Kxf3

  [It is not good this obvious move 22.gxf7 because of 22...Rg7! 23.Qxe7 Bxe2 24.f8Q+ Rxf8+ 25.Qxf8+ Rg8 26.Qxh6 Qd2! 27.Qf6+ Rg7 28.Qf8+ Rg8=]

  22...Rxg6 23.Qe4 f5 24.Qc4 Qd2 25.Rc1??

  This is a big blunder!

[But the same time it's not so easy to play with white and especially in time trouble! for exp: 25.Qc3 Qd5+ 26.Kf2 Bg5 and black's initiative is very dangerous]

  25...Rc6

  The rest is clear now.

  26.Qh4 Qxc1 27.Qxe7 Rg8 28.e6 Qd2 29.Kf2 f4 0–1
