　　Both tournaments continued today. The 9th round of male’s games witnessed 3 draws. Norwegian prodigy Carlsen Magnus who had locked the champion ended first with Radjabov Teimour. Radjabov Teimour(white) chose a stable change under poor condition. Carlsen Magnus had no opportunity to provoke a combat, leading the endgame to a draw. The game between Dmitry Jakovenko and Peter Leko processed similarly. Comparatively speaking, the game between Wang Yue(white) and the defending champion Topalov Veselin was more fierce. Topalov Veselin repeated the layout Teimour Radjabov used in the first round of the competition against Wang Yue. Obviously, he was well prepared. In this round, Wang Yue also made some improvements. Although in the middlegame, Wang Yue was in an unfavorable position for a while, due to a few small concessions. Dzagnidze Nana(black), who ranked first with Xu Yuhua previously, drew with Munguntuul Batkhuyag. Mkrtchian Lilit(white) defeated Yildiz Betul who failed all the previous rounds. After ten rounds, Chinese grandmaster Xu Yuhua was far ahead of other women players.
