On September 27, Nanjing Pearl Spring Chess Tournament will unveil in a few days. Today (24th ) in the morning, the Organizing Committee of the game hosted the news conference, where the Trophy Cup - “Jinlin Plays Water” for the games was revealed on the conference.

The name of the trophy cup, “Jinlin (Shining Fish Scales)”, is just the homophonic of Nanjing (Jinlin), referring to the host city of this game, while “Plays Water” probably embodies the vigorous vitality of Nanjing for its advancing status.

　　The trophy cup is modeled as a motional fish. The logo of the game is incorporated into the top of the trophy cup by way of relief sculpture, implying the promotion above water, and the winner as the king. A pawn on the Logo is in line with the streamline of the trophy cup, meaning the same nature of the cup itself, while the two interacting fishes are surrounding the pawn, implying the wise man likes water and is similar to water when playing games.

　　The color of the cup is in the mood of the blue, being cool and pure to symbolize the characteristics of calmness, intellect and stability to show the imagery of the wise, just as a winner in his or her element in game-playing. The trophy cup is made of azure stone with a demonstration of watery endless changes, to reflect the magnificence of Chinese traditional culture and the consilience to the international culture.
