Georgia's famous player Dzagnidze performed strongly. Following the first round in defeating Chinese player Ju Wenjun, she defeated Turkish player Yildiz in this round, and becomes the only player to win two games successively.
The "civil war" of Chinese players Zhao Xue and Ju Wenjun also decided the winner, and Ju Wenjun has the last laugh. In other two games, Russian player Kovanova drew with Fierro, and French player Sebag and Armenian player Mkrtchian equaled their shares.
After 2-round competition, Xu Yuhua and Zhu Chen have one winning and one draw, and the same 1.5 points respectively, only second to Dzagnidze, The six players including Shen Yang and Ju Wenjun have 1 point respectively, and another Chinese player Zhao Xue has one draw and one loss and accumulated 0.5 points.
A total of 12 Chinese and foreign women masters participate in this competition. Total prize is 50,000 euros.
