The 7th round of women’s Grand Prix was ended up at 8 o’clock on October 5th in Mingfa Pearl Spring Hotel, Nanjing. Chinese player Shen Yang won Georgia Dzagnidze whose rating was on the top now. Zhao Xue and Xu Yuhua also won the games.

　　There were five boards having winners in all of six boards today. The first winners were Xu Yuhua and Chu Chen. After two resignations, Xu Yuhua adjusted her status and seized her opponent Ju Wenjun’s mistakes in middlegame while she used Reti Opening. She got the fourth winning after 33 rounds. Zhu Chen who resigned to Zhao Xue in the last game competing against Russian Kovanova today used complex Wings Attack in Nimzovich Defense. At last Zhu Chen found the mistake in the complex situation and got winning at the 37th round.

　　Shen Yang in Black used Slav Defense to win Dzagnidze after 57 round. She got the second winning after against Sebag in the first game. In this board Shen Yang prepared well in strategy and got draw first. In the middlegame, Shen Yang seized Dzagnidze’s hole to change the situation into advantaged Minor-Pieces Endgame and won the game at the last 57th round. This winning was the second one after the last one in Yin Zhou World Cup of female’s team.

　　Soon after Shen Yang’s winning, Zhao Xue won her game. She in Black won Ecuador Fierro in 67rounds by Ruy Lopez. It was the second winning against after Turkey Tournament. Both of them made a confrontation in the centre after opening. Fierro simplified the position and brought it into a balance endgame of rook knight pawns 5. In the next Zhao Xue played far better and made changes by using Queen Pawn successfully, making her opponent resign.

　　In the other two boards, Munguntuul and Mrktchian played for 64 rounds in Caro-Kann Defense. They draw in the rook endgame. French master Sebag was still very strong and used Sicilian Defense in Black. After 57 rounds, she won Turkey Yildiz and got the fourth winning. Yildiz had lost seven times tragically.

　　After seven rounds, Dzagnidze and Sebag were both on the top with rating 5. Xu Yuhua and Zhao Xue were at the second place with rating 4.5. Zhu Chen and Mrktchian were rating 4. Shen Yang and Munguntuul were rating 3.5. Ju Wenjun and Kovanova were rating 3. Fierro was rating 2. And Yildiz got 0.

　　The eighth round will be started at 3 o’clock on October 6. Zhao Xue (White) will complete against Kovanova, Xu Yuhua (White) will complete against Yildiz, Shen Yang (White) will complete against Ju Wenjun, Zhu Chen (Black) will complete against Sebag, Dzagnidze (Black) will complete against Mrktchian and Fierro (White) will complete against Munguntuul.
